Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that returns sponsored results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. If you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to include and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar technology where applicable.
How Information Is Used
Limited visitor data helps us operate the site, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create personal profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Pleasanton People Search links to government portals, Alameda County and California agencies, libraries, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's policy. The same is true for sponsored results, which an outside company provides.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Our Security Practices
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as necessary for their stated purposes. Since visitors do not create accounts, we hold no user password or account profile here.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so we can remove it.
California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may provide eligible California residents rights involving access, correction, deletion, and use of personal information held by a covered business. We retain very little, but we can check our contact mailbox and available logs when a valid request is made through the Contact page. Government records held by Pleasanton, Alameda County, or California agencies remain outside our control. Those records are governed by the California Public Records Act, Government Code Division 10, and other record-specific laws; any correction or suppression request must go to the custodian.
